Mativ Holdings (MATV) said late Tuesday that Shruti Singhal, a member of its board, will succeed Julie Schertell as president and chief executive officer, effective immediately.

Before the appointment, Singhal chaired the nominating and governance committee and served on the compensation and audit committees.
