Beacon Roofing Invests in Renovate Robotics

Beacon Roofing Supply (BECN) said Monday it has invested in and partnered with Renovate Robotics, a startup developing automated roofing technology.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Renovate Robotics is working on a robot called Rufus that installs asphalt shingles and plans to introduce the technology in New Jersey and Pennsylvania later in 2025, Beacon Roofing said.

Beacon Roofing shares were up more than 8% in recent Monday trading.
