Delta Air Lines Domestic Demand May Fall Due to Macro Challenges, Deutsche Bank Says

Delta Air Line (DAL) may see falling domestic demand due to macro uncertainty because of lowered consumer and corporate confidence, Deutsche Bank said in a Tuesday note.

Factors such as a late Easter, sliding consumer sentiment, deteriorating "soft" economic indicators, disconcerting headlines, and stock market volatility are contributing to domestic "softness," analyst Mike Linenberg said.

Deutsche Bank now expects Delta to report Q1 earnings of $0.45 per share and full-year 2025 EPS of $7.10.

Deutsche maintained its buy rating and $82 price target on the airline's stock.

Delta's stock was down over 8% in recent Tuesday trading.
