0339 GMT - The Bank of Thailand could keep its policy rate at 2.00% for the rest of the year, say Goldman Sachs analysts in a note. Headline inflation slowed to 1.1% on year in February, mainly due to lower fuel inflation, they say. The central bank likely wants to preserve some policy space, they write. However, the analysts note that risks to their forecast are skewed to a more dovish central bank, which could mean more rate cuts. That will likely happen if the domestic economy deteriorates further, they add. (amanda.lee@wsj.com)
