Rumi The Poet's Cup announced on Sunday (Mar 9) that it will be closing down on Mar 30. The cafe at Haji Lane is famous for its array of artisanal drinks including caramel macchiato, teh tarik and matcha latte.
It also served as a popular hangout spot for the youth, hosting live music sessions and game nights.

No official reason has been given for its closure. In a video posted on Rumi The Poet's Cup's Instagram page, a message could be seen: "Dear Rumians, you've made these years unforgettable. The stories shared over steaming cups, the quiet moments of reflection, and the bonds we formed are treasures we'll carry with us always.
"And while it is with a heavy heart that we close our doors, we believe that one will soon open. So dear friends, this is not a goodbye, it's a see you later."
