Besra Gold (ASX:BEZ) said shareholder Quantum Metal Recovery requisitioned a special meeting of the shareholders to vote on the removal of certain directors and the election of new ones, according to a filing with the Australian bourse.

Quantum holds a stake of around 20% in Besra Gold, the filing said.

It proposed that a meeting be held as soon as possible to remove Jon Morda, Michael Higginson, and Chang Loong Lee as directors and elect Matthew Greentree, David Izzard, and William John Blake as directors.
