Norwest Minerals (ASX:NWM) said the state deed for grant of mining tenement for its Bulgera gold project in Western Australia has been approved by the Marputu Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The state deed will now be lodged with the Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DEMIRS) for execution by the Minister of Mines and Petroleum, the filing said. After that, the company expects DEMIRS to formally approve the grant of the project's mining lease.
Company shares jumped past 22% in recent Tuesday trade.
