Winsome Resources (ASX:WR1) said that a review of geochemical data from its Sirmac-Clapier project in Canada confirmed the presence of systems that form high-grade lithium and cesium mineralization, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
The geochemical analysis determined that the pegmatite rock formation at the project is highly fractionated, an indicator of the potential for strong mineralization.
The confirmed cesium grades of more than 1% of cesium oxide suggest pollucite is the dominant cesium-bearing mineral, the filing said. The company is conducting a mineralogical analysis to verify this conclusion.
