1029 ET - American Airlines is pushing to deliver growth this year in its Northern-tier hubs, namely Philadelphia and Chicago, CEO Robert Isom says at the 2025 JPMorgan Industrials Conference. Chicago bookings are coming in at levels the airline had hoped for and Philadelphia is recovering as well, he says. American has been working to overcome impacts from a pilot shortfall that kept 150 of its aircraft grounded last year. "We are working now to get our northern-tier hubs rebuilt back to where they were," the CEO says. (dean.seal@wsj.com)
