Communications services companies fell after a Verizon Communications warning about wireless subscriber growth.
Verizon Wireless executive Frank Boulben warned that the first-quarter tally of gross subscriber additions is "going to be probably soft" based on current trends. Shares of rivals AT&T and T-Mobile fell in sympathy.
