Rimfire Says Arbitrator Weighing Exploration Partner's Request to Reschedule Arbitration Hearings

Rimfire Pacific Mining (ASX:RIM) said an arbitrator is considering a request from exploration partner Golden Plain Resources (ASX:GPR) to reschedule the hearings related to the termination of the companies' Fifield and Avondale earn-in agreement, according to a March 7 filing with the Australian bourse.

GPR had initiated arbitration against Rimfire regarding the validity of the termination of the agreement. The final arbitration hearings were previously scheduled for March 19 to 21 and 24.

Rimfire expects a decision on the request this week, the filing said, adding that the revocable undertakings between the companies remain in effect.
