AIA Group (HKG:1299) reported a profit for the year attributable to shareholders of AIA Group of $6.84 billion for 2024, compared with $3.76 billion in the previous year, according to a Friday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.

The earnings per share were $0.62, compared with $0.33 a year ago.

Insurance revenue for the year was $19.31 billion, compared with $17.51 billion in the prior year.

The company declared a final dividend of $1.3098 per share, which will likely be paid out on June 12.

The life insurer's shares were down 2% in recent trading.
