Volkswagen is discussing with Geely Automobile (HKG:0175)-backed digital cockpit system company Ecarx to install the Chinese firm's systems in cars for developed markets such as Europe and the US, Reuters reported Wednesday.
The German carmaker already has a pact with Ecarx for smart cars equipped with Antora 1000 in Brazil and India, the report said.
The Antora 1000 is Ecarx's fourth-generation digital cockpit computing platform.
