Gale Pacific (ASX:GAP) said Dexter Clarke was named as its chief financial officer, effective March 31, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.

The firm earlier began a search for a new CFO as part of its decision to relocate the role to Australia, the filing said.

Its interim CFO Arjun Bagawandas will return to his role as group financial controller.
