Hong Kong and China Gas or Towngas (HKG:0003) attributable profit declined to HK$5.71 billion in 2024 from HK$6.07 billion in 2023, according to a Wednesday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.

Earnings per share at the gas company decreased to HK$0.301 from HK$0.316 in the previous year.

Revenue slipped to HK$55.5 billion from HK$57 billion a year earlier.

The company declared a final dividend of HK$0.23 per share, payable June 23 to shareholders on record as of June 12.

Meanwhile, Towngas is optimistic that a resurgence in tourism and recruitment from mainland China will increase sales in 2025, it said Wednesday.
