Top Glove (SGX:BVA, KLSE:TOPGLOV) booked an attributable profit to owners of the parent of 30.3 million ringgit in the fiscal second quarter ended Feb. 28, against an attributable loss of 51.2 million ringgit a year earlier, according to a filing with the Singapore Exchange on Thursday.
Earnings per share came in at 0.0038 ringgit, compared with a loss per share of 0.0064 ringgit in the comparable period.
Revenue increased 61% year on year to 883.7 million ringgit from 550.3 million ringgit. Analysts polled by Visible Alpha had projected a revenue of 933.9 million ringgit for the period.
