Highfield Resources (ASX:HFR) said Yankuang Energy decided to extend the sunset date under their implementation agreement to June 30 from March 31 to allow more time to satisfy the remaining conditions, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The agreement includes Highfield directly or indirectly acquiring all of the issued capital of Yancoal Canada Resources, a subsidiary of Yankuang Energy.
