RTX's (RTX) unit Collins Aerospace said Monday that it has been awarded an $80 million contract to upgrade US Army Black Hawk helicopters' avionics system under the H-60M MOSA Avionics Architecture Solution program.

Collins said the work will feature Mosarc, Collins' modular open systems approach-compliant product.

Collins said it will carry out the work in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Huntsville, Alabama.
