March 20 - (The Insurer) - Acrisure Re has appointed Tom Deane to lead its corporate advisory and solutions business in the U.S., the company said in a statement on Thursday.

Deane is based in New York and reports to Ben Canagaretna, Acrisure Re’s London-based global head of corporate advisory and solutions.

In his new role, Deane will work on strategic advisory, insurance-linked securities and other corporate finance transactions on behalf of Acrisure Re’s clients in the U.S.

Deane has been at Acrisure Re for almost two years, having joined as the firm’s head of banking in August 2023. He was previously a partner at U.S. boutique investment bank Stonybrook Capital, where he focused on middle market insurance clients.

Earlier in his career, Dean worked on capital raising and M&A transactions at JLT and Benfield Advisory.

Acrisure Re said it had also promoted Devin Inskeep to senior vice president and head of ratings and strategic advisory. In his new role, Inskeep will be responsible for developing ratings strategies with Acrisure Re clients.

Inskeep joined Acrisure Re in October 2022 from Aon, where he was a director in the reinsurance broker’s capital advisory team.
