Clean Energy Investor Group CEO Richie Merzian says Australia needs to build a grid which can “continuously” provide energy.
Mr Merzian told Sky News Australia that there must be “dispatchable energy” to complement the variable renewable energy.
“We’re seeing a lot more batteries come on the grid and we need more of that storage, we need more pumped hydro as well,” he said.
