1336 ET - e.l.f. Beauty is seeing social conversations around cosmetics pick up from the lower January levels, which should help boost sales amid a new product launch in April, D.A. Davidson's Linda Bolton Weiser says in a research note after meeting with CEO Tarang Amin. The cosmetics company also hasn't experienced retailer inventory reductions despite the slowdown in point of sale growth, Weiser says. Still, the analyst says she would need to see a resumption of 5% to 10% U.S. POS growth to get more constructive on the stock. Weiser cuts the price target to $75 versus $80. e.l.f. Beauty falls 4.2% to $65.30. (sabela.ojea@wsj.com; @sabelaojeaguix)
