Helios Technologies (HLIO) said Monday it has elected Laura Dempsey Brown the new chair of the electronic controls company's board of directors.

Dempsey Brown succeeds Philippe Lemaitre, who retired after nearly two decades on the panel, including almost 12 years as board chairman, the company said.

Dempsey Brown has been a Helios board member since April 2020, after retiring in 2018 as senior vice president for communications and investor relations at WW Grainger (GWW).
