Bath & Body Works (BBWI) Chief Executive Officer Gina Boswell is taking a temporary absence starting Thursday due to a scheduled surgery.
In a message to employees, Boswell said that she expects be out for up to four weeks, followed by a few weeks of remote work.
"My doctors expect a full recovery, and I look forward to returning to the office soon," Boswell said in the message.
The company included the message in a regulatory filing on Wednesday.
