Canyon Resources Unit Acquires 9.1% Total Interest in Camrail

Canyon Resources (ASX:CAY) said its unit, Camalco Cameroon SA has acquired the 5.3% interest in Camrail from Total Energies Marketing Cameroun, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

In total, Camalco now holds a 9.1% stake in Camrail, the filing said.

The company said the total consideration for the combined acquisitions was about AU$3.4 million, funded from existing cash reserves.
