Kratos Defense & Security Solutions (KTOS) said Tuesday it broke ground on the Hypersonic System Indiana Payload Integration Facility in Crane, Indiana.
The 68,000-square-foot facility, with an investment exceeding $50 million in construction and equipment, will support hypersonic vehicle and payload activities for the Multi-Service Advanced Capabilities Hypersonic Testbed program, the company said.
Kratos expects the facility to create more than 100 high-tech jobs and to be operational by the end of 2026.
