GCM Grosvenor (GCMG) started a joint venture with Grove Lane Partners to create a individual investor distribution platform focusing on registered investment advisors, independent broker-dealers and family offices.

The venture will be led by Ryan Chapman, who previously worked at Blackstone (BX) and developed distribution strategies for private market services, GCM Grosvenor said Tuesday in a statement.

GCM Grosvenor holds a minority stake in the venture with the option to acquire full ownership in the future.
