Oversea-Chinese Banking Corp. or OCBC (SGX:O39) used 24,852 treasury shares worth around SG$359,599 for its employee share schemes, a Monday Singapore bourse filing said.

Following the transaction, the bank's treasury shares increased to 19.8 million, according to the lender.

Shares of the lender were up nearly 2% in recent trading.
