1347 ET - Computing is at an inflection point, according to Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang. He expects data center build-out to reach $1 trillion by 2028, he says at the GPU Technology Conference. The world is shifting from hand-coded software to machine-learning software, a transition which is past its tipping point, Huang says. That's reflected in soaring build-outs of data centers, which fuel machine learning. Huang also says he expects agentic and physical AI--AI that can reason and drive robots--to be the next wave of the technology, now that generative AI has evolved. (katherine.hamilton@wsj.com)
