China Starch's (HKG:3838) attributable profit surged 347% to 482.3 million yuan in 2024 from 108.0 million yuan in 2023, according to a Wednesday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.

Earnings per share at the cornstarch manufacturer increased 349% to 0.0808 yuan from 0.0180 yuan in the previous year.

Revenue, however, declined 3.2% to 11.4 billion yuan from 11.8 billion yuan a year earlier.

The company declared a final dividend of HK$0.0098 per share, 42% higher than the HK$0.0069 per share in the year-ago period, and payable July 16 to shareholders on record as of June 20.
