China Oil And Gas (HKG:0603) returned to an attributable profit of HK$180.8 million in 2024 from a loss of HK$232.5 million in 2023, according to a Monday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.

The China-based gas distributor returned to earnings per share of HK$0.035 from a loss per share of HK$0.045 in the previous year.

Revenue declined 4.7% to HK$17.7 billion from HK$18.5 billion a year earlier.

Shares of the company jumped 6% during Monday's afternoon trading.
