Better Choice (BTTR) said Friday its shareholders approved the issuance of up to 30 million common shares to acquire SRx Health Solutions.
In a special meeting on Friday, shareholders also approved a change in the company's name to SRX Health Solutions along with a change in its NYSE American ticker symbol to "SRXH" from "BTTR," the company said.
The SRx Health acquisition is expected to close "in the coming weeks," the company said.
BTTR shares were down about 5.6% in recent trading.
