Finance Sector Union National Assistant Secretary Nicole McPherson has raised concerns over AMP’s “extraordinary move” to include video surveillance in its contracts.
“Not only is AMP giving themselves the right to be able to do continuous video monitoring at AMP’s premises, but also in people’s homes, and that’s something that we haven’t seen before,” Ms McPherson told Sky News Australia.
“Is this legal? Well, that really depends on the state but we have some serious concerns.
“We are telling all of our members not to sign; we’ve proposed back a significant number of amendments to this contract to AMP.”
