1051 GMT - JD Sports might feel the impact of Nike's inventory adjustments in the short term, UBS analysts write in a note. The U.S. sports brand said stock clearance could continue through the first half of fiscal 2026, ending November. However, the U.S. company is committed to supporting wholesale partners by clearing old inventories and offering higher wholesale discounts. Furthermore, Nike's focus on the U.K. market as well as the initial positive reception of Nike's apparel could help JD Sports in a challenging business environment, the analysts say. JD Sports shares are down 4%. (andrea.figueras@wsj.com)
