ZJLD's (HKG:6979) attributable profit fell 43% to 1.32 billion yuan in 2024 from 2.33 billion yuan in 2023, according to a Thursday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
Earnings per share at the liquor manufacturer decreased 18% to 0.40 yuan from 0.485 yuan a year earlier. Analysts at Visible Alpha estimated EPS at 0.53 yuan.
Revenue inched up 0.50% to 7.07 billion yuan from 7.03 billion yuan in the previous year. Visible Alpha analysts forecast revenue at 7.75 billion yuan.
The company declared a final dividend of HK$0.21 per share, payable May 30 to shareholders on record as of May 19.
Shares jumped 2% during Friday's morning trading.
