Tesla $(TSLA)$: Shares rose before the bell. That built on gains made Friday, after Elon Musk urged employees not to sell shares in the EV maker at a meeting broadcast on his social-media platform, X.
Bayer (XE:BAYN): The German pharma and agriculture company suffered a fresh legal defeat over its Roundup weedkiller, when a Georgia jury orderd it to pay $2.1 billion. Shares fell more than 6% in Frankfurt.
AZEK $(AZEK)$: Building-materials company James Hardie Industries (AU:JHX; JHX) agreed to buy AZEK, a manufacturer of outdoor-living products, in an $8.75 billion deal. AZEK shares jumped 20% premarket.
KB Home (KBH) is due to report earnings after markets close.
