1206 ET - Albertsons blames Kroger for their failed merger. Kroger claims the blame falls on Albertsons. The two U.S. grocery-store operators are waging a war of words and leaving it to courts to decide who's at fault. Kroger says a strategy pursued by Albertsons undermined its efforts to seal the deal, adding it wasn't entitled to the $600 million termination fee or other damages. Albertsons says it looks forward to presenting its case in court.
