As the next round of Trump’s reciprocal tariffs is set to take effect on April 2, Australia is preparing for the potential fallout.

According to APAC chief economist at S&P Global Ratings, Louis Kuijs, Australia is not likely to see very high tariffs being imposed on the country.

Speaking with Sky News Business Reporter Ed Boyd, Mr Kuijs explained that while all APEC economies will likely feel the heat in heat in terms of the economy overall, some countries are more vulnerable to direct tariffs due to their large trade surpluses with the US or high tariffs on US imports.
