Sunny Optical Technology (Group) (HKG:2382) reported a 145.5% increase in profit attributable to owners for 2024 to 2.70 billion yuan from 1.10 billion yuan a year earlier, according to a Monday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
Earnings per share increased to 2.4788 yuan from 1.0063 yuan in the previous year. The average estimate from analysts polled by Visible Alpha was EPS of 2.35 yuan.
Revenue increased by 20.9% to 38.29 billion yuan from 31.68 billion yuan the previous year. Analysts polled by Visible Alpha estimated revenue at 38.49 billion yuan.
The board proposed a final dividend of HK$0.532 per share.
Shares of the optical products designer and manufacturer were down 11% in recent trading.
