1559 ET - Pentagon officials signed off on allowing United Launch Alliance to fly national-security satellites on its Vulcan Centaur rocket. ULA, owned by Boeing and Lockheed Martin, faced delays winning that clearance in part because of supply chain issues and a problem with a nozzle during a test mission last year. The Space Force says the first Vulcan national-security flight is now expected this summer. ULA has dozens of flights to address for the military with Vulcan, and the rocket is a key part of Amazon.com's plans to develop a low-Earth orbit satellite network that would compete with SpaceX's Starlink unit.
