Gibb River Diamonds (ASX:GIB) filed a mining proposal with the Western Australian Mines Department for mining of the Neta prospect within the Edjudina project, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The proposal will allow a mine and haul operation at the prospect, using toll treatment at a third-party mill, the filing said.

Plans are underway for a heritage survey at the project expected to take place in April, according to the filing.
