1002 ET - Dutch Bros plans to double its footprint with 1,000 new shops over the next five years, executives say at the company's inaugural investor day. The coffee chain has also increased its total addressable market to 7,000 locations, up from its previous target of 4,000 and the 6,000-shop estimate of William Blair analysts. Those analysts say the key to the company's growth will be scaling its culture and leadership pipeline. The brand's strong service levels are a meaningful differentiating factor and contribute to its standout value scores that beat its peers and fast-food players like McDonald's and Chick-fil-A, the analysts say in a research note.
