Shares of gold miners soared in recent trading on the Australian bourse on Friday, after gold spot prices rose to a record $3063.33 near midday Friday.
The shares of Ramelius Resources (ASX:RMS) increased 6%, those of Northern Star Resources (ASX:NST) rose 4%, and those of Evolution Mining (ASX:EVN) climbed 3%.
