China MeiDong Auto (HKG:1268) incurred an attributable loss of 2.26 billion yuan in 2024, compared with an attributable profit of 140.2 million yuan in the year-ago period, a Wednesday filing with the Hong Kong bourse said.

Loss per share was 1.6818 yuan, whereas the company had made earnings per share of 0.1041 yuan in 2023.

The passenger vehicle company's revenue fell by 22% to 22.2 billion yuan in the year from 28.6 billion yuan a year prior.

The firm recommended a final dividend of 0.0445 yuan per ordinary share for the year, which will be paid on Aug. 27 to shareholders on record June 20.
