Vulcan Energy Resources (ASX:VUL) said that its phase one Lionheart Project in Europe received strategic project status under the European Commission's Critical Raw Materials Act, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The status will enable Vulcan to access public and private funding, facilitating the project's progression, the filing said.
