Simplex Realty (BOM:503229) said the Ministry of Corporate Affairs approved the incorporation of its wholly owned subsidiary, Simplex Modern Homes, on March 25.
The new unit, incorporated as a special-purpose vehicle, will be involved in real estate activities.
It will operate as builders, real estate developers, and general construction contractors, according to a BSE filing on Wednesday.
Shares of the company were up 3.5% in recent trading.
