March 31 - (The Insurer) - HDI Global UK and Ireland has appointed Marcus Breese as head of cyber underwriting, effective April 1, 2025.

HDI Global said Breese will focus on driving the long-term sustainable growth of its cyber offering in the UK and Ireland.

He will report to the insurer's corporate director of underwriting Antonia Osborne.

Breese most recently spent four years at Arch Insurance International as head of cyber and technology errors and omissions. His career also includes 18 years at Hiscox.
