- U.S. President Donald Trump said on Sunday he was "pissed off" at Russian President Vladimir Putin and will impose secondary tariffs of 25% to 50% on buyers of Russian oil if he feels Moscow is blocking his efforts to end the war in Ukraine.

- Nearly 40 nations, including China, Russia and India, voiced opposition to a plan by Canadian miner The Metals Company TMC.O to start seabed mining in the Pacific Ocean by applying for exploration licenses and permits from the U.S. Department of Commerce to extract minerals.

- The United States will not get Greenland, Prime Minister Jens-Frederik Nielsen said on Sunday in a post on Facebook in response to Donald Trump's latest assertion that he wants to annex the territory.

- Donald Trump did not rule out seeking a third term in office on Sunday, saying that he was "not joking" about the possibility and suggesting there were "methods" to circumvent the two-term limit laid out in the Constitution. However, he added it was too early to think about doing so.
