African Gold (ASX:A1G) said recent extensional intercepts in its Blaffo Guetto high-grade zone in the Ivory Coast confirmed mineralization along strike in both directions, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
Key assay results include 11 meters at 4.3 grams per tonne of gold from 97 meters within 31 meters at 2 g/t gold from 97 meters as well as seven meters at 5.9 g/t gold from 366 meters within 19 meters at 3.5 g/t gold from 365 meters.
The company's shares plunged 20% in recent Monday trade.
