ARM Holdings (ARM) expects its share of the worldwide market for data center central processing units to surge to 50% by the end 2025, up from about 15% in 2024, Reuters quoted a senior executive as saying Monday.
The gains in chip market share will be driven by demand for artificial intelligence, said Mohamed Awad, ARM's infrastructure chief, according to Reuters.
ARM's technology in many cases offers lower power consumption than rival processors, Reuters reported.
