Uber Technologies (UBER) and Booking (BKNG) unit OpenTable said Monday they formed a partnership to link Uber's ride-hailing and delivery services with OpenTable's restaurant network across multiple countries.
The companies said they plan to integrate their apps in the coming months to offer restaurant reservations, transportation, and membership benefits to customers in the US, Canada, UK, Mexico, Australia, and Ireland.
The partnership will roll out in phases, with additional features expected over time, according to the joint statement.
